Te echaré de menos, CPW !
Well, it’s finally over - after liquid nitrogen ice cream, BBQ, DJ lessons, field hockey games, Saferides, and as much dancing as I ever could have hoped for, I’m now in the car leaving . I couldn’t have imagined 3 days that explored more facets of campus life . Thanks so much to the MIT staff who made it possible, the campus police for early morning rides, and most of all, the...
Hey, pre-frosh: make sure to
Hey, pre-frosh: make sure to check out Stata before you leave…try standing on the fourth floor between Building 16 and 56.
Goodnight !
My CPW experience is finally coming to a close. After 3 parties, 1 tub of ice cream, and some carne asada, I’m calling it a night. Ill be taking a solid 2 hour nap before I leave. Minimal sleep - I guess its training for next year . - VA
Hey pre-frosh: Don’t forget to spend your TechCash BEFORE YOU LEAVE! - Paul
Urban Golf
So, just saw a group of MIT students playing a round of urban golf cross Kresge court and onto Mass Ave. Evidently landing the ball on Mass Ave nets you a penalty, hitting a car gets you 2 strokes, but if you hit a passerby you get a one stroke reduction. To make the balls easier to see (and less painfull?) they are using yellow tennis balls. -moneyman.
We love you campus police!
After a LONG night of liquid nitrogen, glow sticks, mickey mouse waffles, and dancing, the night is finally coming to a close- however not until after the Saferide shuttle had ended running. I’d like to extend a HUGE thanks to the MIT campus police for so graciously giving us a ride back to our sorority . You guys rock !
Yo hermione, can I borrow your time-turner ?
After stuffing my face w bertuccis roles (delicious) at the field hockey/lacrosse dinner, its time to head back to alpha chi omega to deflate and get ready for the plethora of activites - liquid nitrogen, pick-up soccer, math debates, cupcake decorating, and of course, dancing . Red Bull anyone ?
